Ministry Support Teams

Members of support teams serve on an as-needed basis to provide behind the scenes support to the many aspects of ministry.

Buildings and Grounds

What we do:
The Buildings and Grounds Team provides a functional and attractive environment by performing maintenance and repairs on the building and equipment; assisting with gardening, landscaping and holiday decorating; and designing and constructing furnishings and stage props.

When we serve:
The team meets weekly on Tuesday mornings and occasionally on weekends for landscaping and decorating projects.

Communications Team

What we do:
From communicating upcoming events to sharing stories of life change,
there are many opportunities to convey the impact of ministry at Orchard
Hill. From proofing to designing, the team supports everything from service
communications to ministry brochures to the Orchard Hill website.

When we serve:
Team members typically serve from home on an as-needed basis.

Mail Team

What we do:
The Mail Team is a behind-the-scenes group that jumps in to lend
a hand whenever needed. From stuffing Updates for holiday services
to preparing for mailing projects, the team helps relay messages from
Orchard Hill to the congregation and community.

When we serve:
Team members serve during the weekdays on an as-needed basis.

Office Support Team

What we do:
The church office is a busy place with lots of necessary administrative
responsibilities that form the foundation for the ministries of Orchard Hill.
The Office Team supports the day to day activities including computer entry,
paperwork processing and phone support.

When we serve:
Team members participate at their convenience during the weekdays.

Photography Team

What we do:
A picture is worth a thousand words and the Photography Team helps to visually tell the story of Orchard Hill. Digital photos are used in various places such as newsletters, the website and parking lot banners to illustrate the ministry of Orchard Hill and the people it touches.

When we serve:
Team members are asked to bring their digital cameras to services or special events at various times.
