Service

Our goal in Student Ministries is to help students grow closer to God. It is clear in scripture that God's heart breaks for those who have great need.  We hope that as a result of these service projects, students hearts would more closely resemble God's heart.

Middle School Service

KidsFest Middle School Serve

Middle School Serve is an opportunity for students to participate
in KidsFest. In addition to assisting with camp, students will have
opportunities to meet friends and grow closer to God.

Middle School Serve is for students entering grades 7 through 9
in the fall of 2012. Those entering 7th grade are required to have
a parent onsite who is serving in KidsFest. Students entering
8th & 9th grade do not need a parent onsite. Students have the
opportunity to serve in 1 of 3 areas:  Free Choice, Arts & Crafts
        or Childcare.

Middle School Serve positions are limited and applications will be
        considered for placement when received.

Applications for MS Serve 2012 are available now at
the Welcome Center or at Collide.

Expectations for participation in Middle School Serve 2012 include:

(most likely 7-8:30 pm at the church)

Tutor At the Pittsburgh Project

Students who want to serve on a regular basis are invited to commit
a semester to the Pittsburgh Project, a non-profit community
development organization on the north side of Pittsburgh. We serve
on Thursday afternoons, helping elementary school students with
their homework. An orientation is required, and we ask that you commit
to serve on a regular basis. We leave from the Chapel at 3:30 and are
normally back around 5:30. Limited spots open, contact Jenna to sign up.

Serve in Middle School Ministry

High school students in grades 10-12 have the option to serve as
leaders for Middle School and other events designed for students in
grades six through eight. This is an opportunity to be a positive role
model for students who are learning what a relationship with Jesus
Christ can mean in their lives. Through their energy, creativity and fun,
leaders build friendships that can make a difference.

Band Auditions

Open to any student interested in participating in the Middle School
Band on Sunday mornings at Collide. The goal of the band is to move
students into a deeper worship experience with the Lord, as well as
enhance community at Middle School Collide.
