The Care Team
The Care Team is available to help anyone facing a difficult life situation. The team arranges meals, makes hospital visits, sends cards and visits shut-ins. Care Team members offer prayer and support for those they serve.
The Meal Team
The Meal Team works closely with the Care Team to provide families in need with meals prepared and delivered to their homes. Orchard Hill Church provides pre-cooked meals which the team members can deliver to homes when necessary.
The Prayer Team
When life brings an unexpected turn or a new direction, the Prayer Team is committed to pray for your specific concern. As requests are received, they are immediately sent to the team for prayer and remain part of their daily prayer list. There is great comfort in knowing that others are committed to praying for you.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry meet monthly to hand-knit beautiful, unique shawls for those who are ill as a symbol of the care and strength of a God who loves them.
First Thursday of each month, 9:30-11:30 am, The Gathering Place
3rd Tuesday of each month, 6:30-8:30 pm, Room 203
Project Linus Ministry
Orchard Hill partners with Project Linus to provide blankets to children and teenagers who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need of a sense of security, warmth, and love. This group includes anyone interested in sewing, knitting, or crocheting to help create a blanket that will provide comfort to a child who is facing a difficulty.
