First Communion

The First Communion Service is a celebration of a child's first experience receiving communion as they remember Jesus Christ and His personal sacrifice for them.

First Communion is celebrated one time per calendar year, usually in the month of May. Rob Bohnenstengel, Community Care Pastor, will partner with Children's Ministry to teach your child the meaning of communion. Three weeks prior to the First Communion service, you and your child will be asked to attend a parent/child meeting to discuss the sig of the significance this sacrament. Children attending the meeting will prepare to receive communion for the first time during a Sunday 10:45 am service.
