Adult Ministry Groups Coordinator - Interest Groups (Wexford, Part-Time)

Orchard Hill Church seeks a part-time (15-24 hours per week) collaborative, compassionate, and organized Adult Ministry Group Coordinator to lead and grow our Interest Groups. These groups include all Care and Support groups. Interest Groups are designed to bring people together around a shared interest, passion, or need with the hope of creating opportunities for people to connect with God, the church, and others. This part-time role focuses on developing meaningful connections, partnering with local organizations, equipping volunteers, nurturing community, and expanding engagement within groups. If you’re passionate about helping people find and follow Jesus through relationships, creating ways for such relationships to occur, and enjoy developing leaders, we’d love to talk with you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and nurture all Interest Groups, including Care and Support Groups, to foster inclusive, welcoming environments where people can connect with God, each other, and the church

  • Oversee outreach coordination of church-wide events that help local organizational partners continue to meet the needs of the community, such as food drives, backpack drives, Christmas gifts, mission trips, and related initiatives

  • Serve as the main liaison with established local ministry partners by maintaining strong, healthy, and collaborative relationships

  • Plan and execute outreach mission trips

  • Contribute to weekend services as part of the adult ministry team

  • Provide coaching, equipping, and support to group leaders and volunteers; identify leadership development opportunities

Qualifications

  • Personal faith in Jesus Christ

  • Alignment with Orchard Hill Church beliefs and values

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple groups and events

  • Excellent relational and communication skills

  • Competence in mentoring or developing volunteer leaders

  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and partner organizations

  • Proactive approach to job responsibilities

  • Able to work weekends and occasional evenings as needed
