The Strip District Men’s Retreat will be an opportunity for the men of the Strip District campus to silence the distractions of life, focus on Christ and strengthen each other. The retreat will be a mix of teaching, silence & solitude, and community building through outdoor experiences. This year, the retreat will take place at a farmhouse with plenty of space to take in the cool September countryside, to roam and to enjoy it all. Bring a good pair of hiking shoes, outdoor clothes, Bible and pen. Linens will be provided. Registration includes Friday night late snack, Saturday meals and Sunday breakfast.
Cost is $100/person
What to Expect at Orchard Hill Strip District
The Strip District campus in the heart of Pittsburgh seeks to embody the gospel, be a diverse expression of the church, and make the city a better place by seeing lives changed by Jesus.
We are primarily a young crowd in age and in heart. You are more likely to see a t-shirt than a tie and a Bible app than a paperback. The campus is still in its infancy, which makes it an exciting season as we grow together.
Orchard Hill is a multi-site church. During most Sunday services, the message is presented via video from Orchard Hill Church in Wexford. The Strip District campus has its own campus pastor and staff dedicated to ministry in downtown Pittsburgh. Worship is lead by a live band each week.
Kids have their own space to experience church. Kidzburgh is a place to learn about God’s love in a creative, fun, purposeful environment and come to know how much they matter to God. Kidzburgh opens 15 minutes before the service for newborn through fifth grade. Children are separated into three age groups: nursery/toddlers, preschool, and elementary. When you enter the building with your kids, we will show you how to get started.
We love college students! Nearly every Sunday, students from local campuses gather for a Life Group after the service. Students also regularly take part in service projects and are a part of the life of Orchard Hill - Strip District.
