Childcare Team Member (Part-Time)

Orchard Hill Church is looking for additional Childcare team members for all campuses. Childcare team members provide care for children ages 6 months to 5th grade while their parents attend small groups or ministry events on site. The childcare schedule will be released ahead of each group season, and shifts are typically 2.5-3 hours in the morning or evening throughout the entire week. Job Description

• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.

• Participate in age-appropriate activities (crafts, games, reading, structured learning activities).

• Maintain clean, organized, and child-friendly spaces; sanitize toys and surfaces regularly.

• Support children’s spiritual growth and development through Bible centered activities and programming.

• Collaborate with other caregivers or staff as needed.

• Attend staff meetings or training sessions as scheduled.

Skills Required

• Prior childcare experience (babysitting, nanny, daycare, or classroom assistant) preferred.

• Knowledge of child development and safety practices.

• Ability to multitask, adapt to changing needs, and remain calm under pressure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; patient, kind, and reliable.

• Must pass background check and reference checks prior to hire.
