Todd Harris

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA

Todd grew up in Warren MI, attending Western Michigan University, where he got involved with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA. Throughout those years, he participated in numerous short-term mission programs, following his sense that God was calling him overseas for the future. After working for a few years, Todd was appointed as an intern with IV, serving in Western PA.

Todd joined Orchard Hill Church in the Fall of 2008 upon moving to the area to work with IV. For his first seven years, he served at Clarion University and Grove City College. Since the Summer of 2015, he has been serving in a regional capacity, sending teams of students and staff from 3 and a half states to countries like Bolivia and Jamaica to serve with university student movements there. He is also responsible for developing relationships and partnerships with these movements, and ensuring that staff and students are adequately trained for these cross-cultural experiences.

Todd married his wife, Missy, in 2013. Born in Monongahela, she spent her formative years with her missionary family in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. They have two children, Caleb and Eliana and have been part of Orchard Hill Strip District Campus since it began in 2013, volunteering with the Worship Team and Kidzburgh Ministry.

Todd and Missy enjoy spending time with family and friends in and around Pittsburgh, Brazilian Churrascos, and traveling.

Matt Howell

Coalition for Christian Outreach

Matt is the Director of Information Systems at the CCO, a campus-ministry organization headquartered in East Liberty. He is responsible for providing, maintaining, and maximizing the organization’s use of technology and data in ministry – an essential component for working with college students.

The CCO has a unique approach to campus ministry. Since its inception, the CCO has placed its staff members in local churches near a college or university campus. In this way, students are encouraged to actively participate in a local church during their college years as well as in the on-campus ministry. The CCO has 300 staff members, including campus minsters on 143 campuses across the United States.

Matt and his wife Karen began attending Orchard Hill Church in 1999 after moving to Pittsburgh from Mount Holly Springs, PA. They lead a small group at the church and Karen is active in the children’s ministry and KidsFest as well. Matt has also been one of the teachers in the Foundations class.

Originally from Rittman, Ohio, Matt’s hobbies include rooting for all Cleveland sports teams as well as the Ohio State Buckeyes. He has degrees from the University of Akron (BA) and Carnegie Mellon University (MA). He also attended seminary for one year, until his Introductory Greek class convinced him it was time to change directions.

He and Karen live in McCandless Township with their son, Derek, a senior at Liberty University. Their daughter, Megan Mercer lives with her husband Peter in Ambridge.

Kortney Orwig

Urban Impact Foundation

Kortney grew up at Orchard Hill Church and was highly involved Student Ministry. During the summers of 2016 and 2017, she worked as a High School KidsFest Intern. While attending college at Waynesburg University for Biblical and Ministry Studies, she was also

employed as the Youth Director at Jefferson Baptist Church, applying her classroom learning directly in the ministry field. During the summer of 2018, Kortney worked for the mission organization, YouthWorks, leading mission trips for youth in the inner city of Harrisburg, which ignited her desire to continue working for God’s kingdom in an urban community.

As a new graduate, she is entering full-time ministry as an Urban Missionary with the Urban Impact Foundation on the North Side of Pittsburgh. Here, she will be working with at-risk teens and their families to develop responsible followers of Christ, who are committed and eager to participate in, and carry out, Christ's Great Commission as they discover God's unique calling for their lives.

Specifically, Kortney will be working in Urban Impact’s Options department as the Options Coordinator to Athletics. In this role she will be transitioning students involved in Urban Impact’s Athletics Department, as well as students at Perry Traditional Academy, through and beyond high school, seeking to ensure that they launch successfully into one of five post-secondary tracks: college, a trade school, the military, a job, or into ministry through mentoring, setting post-secondary goals, and creating plans to achieve those goals.

Kortney is passionate about the vision of Urban Impact— to holistically transform the North Side of Pittsburgh with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, one person, one family, one block at a time. Upon starting as a missionary with Urban Impact, Kortney moved to the North Side of Pittsburgh so that she can be more personally involved in the community which the Lord has called her to be His hands and feet.

Danny Parker

Christian Leadership Concepts

Danny is the Pennsylvania Director and “Beyond” for CLC (Christian Leadership Concepts) and has served in that role since 2010. Under his leadership, CLC has grown substantially in Pittsburgh, NE Ohio, Kentucky, Colorado, Georgia and beyond.

Our discipleship model of growing men of extraordinary faith requires sacrifice and the risk of vulnerability. And that investment results in a transformation marked by a greater understanding of who God is, a stronger relationship with him, and a powerful bond with Christian brothers. Through this journey, God shapes men into bold, zealous leaders who are equipped to lead others toward Christ

CLC Challenges men to an uncommon pursuit of Jesus Christ. In making disciples we equip men for a lifetime of leadership in their homes, churches, communities and the marketplace.

Before CLC, Danny served as Director of Men’s Discipleship at Orchard Hill, Wexford campus. He used CLC as a springboard and teaching tool that God used powerfully in men’s lives. Prior to Orchard Hill, Danny worked in the insurance industry, was a Pastor in the Presbyterian Church, and a Young Life Area Director in Augusta, GA and Johnson City, TN. Danny graduated from The University of Tennessee (BA), Fuller Theological Seminary (MAR) and Columbia Theological Seminary (M. Div.).

Danny and his wife, Anna, have two sons and six grandchildren. His love for Jesus shines brightly throughout the Pittsburgh area.
